Food Share America

Mountain View is proud to have entered its fifth year as a Food Share America site. Share is dedicated to "strengthening communities and building families". Share helps families save 50% on their groceries while encouraging the building of relationships with their neighbors in the community. There are no qualifications...if you eat, you qualify!

Although not required, Food Share America encourages participants to volunteer for two hours a month. Volunteering can be anything from helping at the host site, to preparing a meal or babysitting for a neighbor or friend. Virtually anything that one does outside his or her immediate family for free is volunteering.
